Releases

All Winter

Available everywhere March 27th, 2026!

“All Winter” was born in the quiet of quarantine — just Kate, her partner, and their cat, tucked into a railroad-style apartment in Brooklyn while the world churned outside. The song reflects how their bubble felt - unhurried, intimate, and warm, featuring Carole King-esque melodies sung with a hushed intensity reminiscent of Feist, over a groovy yet restrained band. “I wanted it to feel like a favorite old sweater, but also like you could sway to it in the kitchen while you’re cooking breakfast with no pants on.” — Kate Victor

The Gardener

Available everywhere April 10th, 2026!

Where her first single “All Winter” wrapped the listener in the cozy stillness of quarantine, “The Gardener” opens a window — a tender, unhurried meditation on empty nests, the passage of time, and the particular heartache of nurturing things that inevitably must change. Musically, it settles into that same bittersweet feeling - a gently bustling folk song decorated with dreamy, bird-like electric guitar lines that feel as much like a memory as a melody. The track is bookended by environmental sounds recorded in her parents’ actual backyard, and the whole thing lands somewhere between ache and warmth. Fans of Kacey MusgravesAdrianne Lenker, and Faye Webster will find themselves right at home. “It’s about the pain that comes with giving so much of yourself to something that is living — and understanding that it cannot remain the same forever.” - Kate Victor

Ii Days Late

Available everywhere April 24th, 2026!

“11 Days Late” — the title song — is the newest composition on the EP and the one that opens it, setting the tone with soulful tenderness before slowly building to something closer to a rock anthem, complete with a euphoric choir tracked live in the studio with Victor’s sisters and closest musician friends.  The title nods to a family joke — Kate was born eleven days past her due date — but the song reaches somewhere deeper than the punchline. “I move through my life at my own pace, and that pace is slow,“ says Victor. Written during the pandemic, when stalled career opportunities as a musician made that particular trait feel harder to live with, the song is her reckoning with it. “I wanted to write something that I could really belt out, and would allow me some catharsis as I expressed my discomfort and awareness of this part of my personality that I am still coming to terms with.” Anyone who has ever loved the way Julia JacklinHayley Heynderickx, or Mitski can turn self-awareness into something anthemic will feel right at home.
